Searching for Abiotic Factor console commands turns up long lists, but the unmodded game does not have a console. Commands like god only exist through a community mod. The developers do not support unofficial mods, so use it at your own risk.
The game does have real admin tools: an in-game admin panel, launch parameters and a SandboxSettings.ini file. This page covers the mod console, then those official tools.
How to open the console in Abiotic Factor
- Install the UE4SS mod loader in your own copy of the game, following its instructions.
- Download the Cheat Console Commands (UE4SS) mod by igromanru from NexusMods (mod 28) and install it into UE4SS.
- Start the game and load a world.
- Press the tilde key (~) or F10 to open the console.
- Type help to list commands, or help <command> for one command. Type status to see the active commands.
This is a PC-only mod. As host, you can use every command. As a guest in someone else's game, only some work, and the mod does not load on at least one host's dedicated servers. No console method exists on Xbox or PlayStation.
How Abiotic Factor commands work
- Each command has several aliases, for example god also works as godmode. Curly-brace values such as {value} mean you replace them.
- Toggle commands run once to turn on and again to turn off. disableall turns off every active command.
- settime uses 24-hour HH:MM format.

Official admin tools without mods
Without mods, admins use the in-game admin panel: press Esc, then Player Management, then Admin. Admins can force a world save, kick or ban players, mute players, revive scientists and more.
On dedicated servers, add your SteamID64 under [Moderators] in Admin.ini (AbioticFactor/Saved/SaveGames/Server), or start the server with -AdminPassword=<password> and enter it in game. Other launch switches include -MaxServerPlayers=, -ServerPassword= and -Mods=.
Change gameplay settings with SandboxSettings.ini
For XP gain, stack sizes, weight, enemy health and hunger, edit SandboxSettings.ini in the server world folder. If the file does not exist, create a plain text file whose first line is [SandboxSettings].
Examples of options are PlayerXPGainMultiplier and ItemStackSizeMultiplier. Restart if changes do not apply.
Why Abiotic Factor console commands are not working
- Console does not open: UE4SS or the mod is not installed correctly. Try both ~ and F10.
- A command does nothing as guest: it is host only. Ask the host or use a guest-allowed command like money.
- Mod will not load on a server: UE4SS may not load on some hosted dedicated servers.
- Free craft still limited after disabling it: a restart may be needed to fully turn it off.
