Schedule I has a built-in console, and it is not on by default. You switch it on in the in-game settings, per save file. No mod is needed according to the sources that describe the current game.
Below are the commands that appear in guides and on the community wiki, with exact spelling. The game is in early access, so the list can change after updates.
How to enable and use console commands in Schedule 1
- Load your save and press Esc to open the pause menu.
- Open the Game page (the Game tab in settings).
- Click the Console toggle (the empty circle) to turn console commands on. Do this for every save you want to use them in.
- Press the tilde (~) key during play to open the input line.
- Type the command, add a space before any number, and press Enter.
The sources we read cover PC. One guide says a MelonLoader install is needed, but the wiki and other guides describe a built-in toggle for the early-access game, so the MelonLoader claim looks outdated or demo-related. Console availability on other platforms was not confirmed.
How Schedule I commands work
- Format: command value, for example changecash 10000. Numbers need a space before them.
- settime uses a 24-hour clock with four digits, such as settime 0800 or settime 1200.
- give uses an item name and an amount. setowned and teleport use property or location names.
- Guides disagree on whether changecash sets or adds to your cash. Test it on a save and check your wallet.

Schedule 1 console commands for money
Use changecash for the money in your pocket and changebalance for the bank balance. The wiki example is changecash 10000. One guide says it sets your cash to the number you give, others say it adds that amount, so type a small number first to see what happens.
We found no setmoney command in the sources.
Give, setowned and other ID-based commands
The wiki lists IDs for several commands. Examples seen there are baseballbat, machete, revolver and m1911 for give, and motelroom, sweatshop, bungalow, barn and manor for setowned. Manor is shown as console-only. Drug IDs for setdiscovered include ogkush, sourdiesel, greencrack, granddaddypurple, meth and cocaine.
For the full item ID list, check the in-game console autocompletion or the community wiki, as IDs can change in early access.
Do console commands work in multiplayer?
The guides we read do not cover multiplayer or servers, so this is not confirmed.
Why Schedule I console commands are not working
- Console does not open: turn on the Console toggle in the Game page for this save, then press ~.
- Command not recognised: check spelling and add a space before numbers.
- Worked in one save but not another: the toggle is per save.
- Command stopped working after an update: the game is in early access and commands may change.
