Many players search for Cyberpunk 2077 console commands and find out the game has no console. Every command in this guide runs through Cyber Engine Tweaks (CET), a PC mod.
Commands changed with the 2.0 update, so old lists often fail. This guide only lists commands that appear in the CET wiki or in at least one other guide.
How to open the console in Cyberpunk 2077
- Back up your save files and game folder.
- Download Cyber Engine Tweaks from Nexus Mods. A guide notes the author recommends a manual install over a mod manager.
- Extract the mod files into the game directory, following the install guide on the RedModding wiki.
- Launch the game. The CET overlay appears and asks you to bind a key for the console.
- Press that key (one guide says the tilde key) to open the console, type a command and press Enter.
Console commands are PC only. PlayStation and Xbox versions cannot use CET. Stuck quests cannot currently be fixed with the console, according to the CET wiki.
How Cyberpunk 2077 commands work
- Commands use Lua-style syntax with brackets and straight double quotes.
- Items are named like Items.money. Replace the number with the amount you want.
- Copy commands exactly. A missing bracket or quote will make the command fail silently.

Cyberpunk 2077 console commands for money
Use Game.AddToInventory with Items.money and an amount. Change 10000 to the amount you want. Several guides and the CET wiki show the same format.
One guide says the amount can go up to 999,999, another says the in-game cap is 100 million. Start with smaller amounts and check your balance.
- Game.AddToInventory("Items.money", 10000)
Cyberpunk 2077 console commands for level, attribute points and perk points
The CET wiki gives a level command and two commands that add development points. Paste each line into the console as one line.
Some other guides use skillbook items for points (Items.AttributePointSkillbook and Items.PerkPointSkillbook). Only one guide listed them, so they are not included in the tables.
Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 and Phantom Liberty console commands
The 2.0 update rewrote the skills and perks system, and CET changed with it. A command that worked in 1.x may fail now. The CET wiki says many commands changed in CET 2.0 and points to its current spreadsheet for patch 2.x. Update CET when the game patches.
Where to find the Cyberpunk 2077 console commands spreadsheet
The CET wiki on RedModding links to the full item and command spreadsheets for patch 2.x. Use those to look up item names such as weapons, clothing, cyberware and crafting materials. A Steam guide of iconic items and cyberware also exists.
Why Cyberpunk 2077 console commands are not working
- Console does not open: check that CET is installed in the game folder and bind a console key in its overlay.
- Command does nothing after a patch: update Cyber Engine Tweaks, since commands changed in CET 2.0.
- Error on a command: commands are case-sensitive, so copy the exact capitalisation and quotes.
- Mod stops working after a game update: check the CET page for a new version.
- Quest is stuck: the console cannot fix stuck quests, per the CET wiki.
